Up & Active Physiotherapy Team

Up and Active is a team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists with a broad range of special interests, knowledge and educational backgrounds to provide care for a variety of needs.

We prioritise continuing professional development education both within the facility and from external training providers. Each fortnight we meet for case reviews or skills development and twice a quarter we have extended education sessions. At Up and Active our senior clinicians mentor and coach our junior team members to share knowledge that is gained by experience. You may even be lucky enough to be a ‘shadow patient’ where you will find yourself (with consent) being assessed and treated by your physiotherapist and a senior mentor.

Team Building at Up and Active

Team Building

We work hard but we also play hard, with a great emphasis on our team building days and our team culture development days.

Throughout our years Up & Active has been on a scavenger hunt, a pirate pub crawl, we have golfed, bowled, crafted and played croquet, but most fun of all was our day at Emu Gully crawling through tunnels and wading through mud. We have a big focus on enjoying our work, providing the best for our patients and exceeding expectations whilst achieving a happy lifestyle balance.
