Home Visits Information
Home visits by our clinicians can provide you with much needed care at a time when you have difficulty accessing our clinic. We often visit clients in their home due to a temporary or permanent inability drive or access alternative transportation or those who difficulty ambulating over large distances. This may occur during post-surgical recovery periods, such as following a knee or hip replacement, or due to age related declines.
We currently schedule home visits on a Wednesday with Physiotherapist Cathy Mitchell, however our other physiotherapy and exercise physiology team members may be able to accommodate requests as required. Please call our office for further information.

What I Can Expect From a Home Visit
A home visit appointment runs very similar to our regular clinic appointments. Our team member will arrive at a pre-arranged time. They will ask you a series of questions to understand your condition and goals of treatment. They will then ask you to do some tests or movements to assess your physical ability, pain or condition. From that point, you can expect physiotherapy or exercise physiology treatment tailored to your needs. Treatment will be different for every individual but it may involve manual therapy, exercise therapy, provision of a home exercise program, advice or education. Your physiotherapist or exercise physiologist will still communicate with your medical team as required and will involve you in a creating a plan for your rehabilitation or recovery.
