Brigitte Grofski


Brigitte graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Masters of Physiotherapy and joined the Up and Active Physiotherapy team in November 2020. Brigitte enjoys working with a variety of patients from high level athletes to recreational sportspeople who want to be physically active and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Brigitte has completed the APA Sports Physiotherapy Level 1 and 2 courses and has a particular interest in adolescent sporting injuries and is passionate about working with young athletes to help recover from injury and prevent long term musculoskeletal problems from arising. With experience in working for various recreational and representative sporting teams, Brigitte has interest in sporting injuries of the back, hip, knee and ankle. Along with this, Brigitte enjoys helping patients with physiotherapy rehabilitation to return to sport following orthopaedic surgery. Brigitte is completing her DMA Clinical Pilates certification to further extend her knowledge of exercise therapy and rehabilitation.
